[MILLIONAIRE SINGAPORE CONTRACTOR, MR TAN LING HEONG SPOKE OF HIS 12 DAYS OF DARKNESS WHEN HE WAS HELD CAPTIVE BY A KIDNAP GANG. HE WAS ABDUCTED IN MANDAI ROAD ON THE NIGHT OF DEC 30 AS HE WAS DRIVING HOME WITH HIS ELDEST SON, SOO KIAT. HIS EYES WERE PLASTERED AND HIS HEAD COVERED WITH THICK BANDAGES. HE WAS BED BOUND AND KEPT IN TOTAL DARKNESS. HE WAS PUSHED OUT OF THE CAR AT YIO CHU KANG ROAD AT ABOUT 8.30 ON TUESDAY NIGHT. HE TOOK A TAXI TO HIS BROTHER'S HOME. HIS RELATIVES WERE SAID TO HAVE PAID AN $80,000 RANSOM FOR HIS RELEASE.] MR TAN LING HEONG.
