The premises of Sin Teck Hong Oil Mills, Klang and Tan Ban Joo Ltd KL were closed on March 24, 1939 as a mark of respect to the memory of Mr Tan Hong, who died at Singapore on Nov 13, 1938
Finally he was buried in Kopi Sua instead of China and the funeral took place more than 4 months later
