Mrs Ong Chin Beng nee Mabel Tan, died at the General Hospital, Singapore last night after a long typhoid illness. Mrs Ong Chin Beng was 28 years old and is survived by her husband and 3 children.

Ong Chin Beng was a boxer before becoming a Boxing promoter .  Here in this news on 13 Apr 1923 he said he is ready to defend the fly weight title 


On 7 Sep 1928, the Malaya Tribune reported he and his wife has a son (Java and FMS papers please copy) That must be the birth of Charlie Ong
