Death
Tan on May 4, at her residence No 85 Cecil Street and mother of Chong Kee,
Chong Lay, Chong Chew, Chong Teck, Chong Gark and Chong Teat, age 48 years
We regret to announce the death of Oh Peang Neo, wife of Tan Kheam Hock, JP and mother of Tan Chong Kee, which occured suddenly from heart failure at 10 pm yesterday at her residence in Cecil Street. The deceased lady, who was 48 years of age, was very popular among the Chinese ladies in the Straits Settlement and FMS. She was kind hearted and assisted local charities. The deceased left six sons, three daughters to mourn her loss
