Lim Boon Teck

Lim Boon Teck (林文勅)

Overview
Lim Boon Teck (d. 1941) was a prominent Hokkien merchant whose family history is defined by a rare generational pattern of "Double Tombs." Both Lim Boon Teck and his father, Lim Kuang Chee, maintained symbolic empty tombs in Kopi Sua (Mount Pleasant) while their actual remains were interred in Bukit Brown and Kwong Hou Sua. This case study highlights unique Fengshui practices and the early history of the Lin Shan Miu (Unicorn Mountain Temple).
