Tomb couplet
Under the same quilt we have the same dream
Just bury me and let me have a deep sleep
No need to bury me in my hometown
For when you close the coffin lid, that will be my abode

A Poem by Tan Ean Kiam : Remembering my wife at her tomb during Qing Ming
The grass grows green during Qing Ming
My tears stream down as I touch my wife's grave
When she was alive we used to quibble over trivial things
Now it wrenches my heart, when I think of her
(translated by Yik Han)
