Mrs Gan Poo Tiong nee Wee Joon Neo age 76 years passed away on 2nd July 1958 at her residence 93 Carpmael road. She leaves behind her only daughter, son, daughter in law, nine grandson s 3 granddaughters .

From the above, we can see that Gan Geok Neo was the biological daughter of Gan Poo Tiona and Wee Joon Neo

So we think Gan Eng Seng father died sometime in 1877 (tombstone was mentioned erected in 1877), internet sources say his father died when he was 16 years old.
