Chinese Association Forms 10 Bureaux

TO FACILITATE the work cf organizing and effectively carrying out the Endau collective farm
scheme.. the Overseas Chinese Association has formed ten bureaux, each of which is headed by people who are not only qualified to handle questions that may be brought to them
but who are anxious to see the scheme carried through successfully.

Dr Lim Boon Keng is unmistakably seen next to the tall and moustached Shinozake who was instrumental in setting up the OCA and who had convinced LBK to be its President. SQ Wong (son of the notable Wong Ah Fook) was the Vice-President and is seen on fourth at back row with glasses, and on his right is Ching Kee Sun, Tan Ean Kiam (seen here in white outfit with dark necktie on above left of Japanese military standing third from front left)
