Description
This is a close-up of Mr. Lee Chin Tian (李振殿), a businessman and Member of the Tung Meng Hui or Chinese Revolutionary League branch in Singapore. He was Managing Director of Tiang Seng Chan (Singapore) Private Limited; one of the partners of Great World (1935-1936); Director of Chinese Commercial Bank Limited (1931-1932); Chairman of Min Kuo Jih Pao (1935); Vice-Chairman (1947) and later Chairman of Nanyang Girls' High School Board of Directors (1948-1960); President of Southern Sago Flour Association (1950); Vice President and Committee Member of Singapore Chinese Produce Exchange (1948-1961); and Committee Member of Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce (1937-1952). Title devised by Library staff.
