Dato Nenek Kusu

7 gentlemen and one lady donated funds for building the shrine for Dato NENEK of Kusu Keramat in return for blessings for their business and family. This was when Dato NENEK visited Hoe Beng Whatt at his residence in 1917, so far 5 tombs of the donors have been found, 4 in BB, one in CCK. One sad story was that of Tay Guan Kiat, for although he have built up a successful business, unfortunately 2 years after the donation, he was committed to the Lunatic Asylum upon petition by his wife and died 3 days later …
